A good Season 14 boss route starts with your build sheet, not the nearest dungeon entrance. Check the one or two Uniques that actually switch your build on, then spend keys around those. If you are short on materials, picking up D4 Gold can help smooth out the usual gaps, but it will not fix a bad target choice. Varshan, Grigoire, Zir, Urivar and Beast in the Ice are still sensible early stops because their keys are cheaper and their tables are tighter.

The big change is that a regular Unique is no longer the end of the chase. It can roll at Mythic quality, so the boss holding your normal version also gives you a shot at the better one. That sounds simple, but plenty of players still burn Greater Lair Keys on bosses with nothing useful in their dedicated pool. Don't do that. Duriel, Andariel, Harbinger of Hatred and the Butcher are worth the higher entry cost when their class drops fit your setup. Otherwise, the extra difficulty is mostly just extra time.

Quick farming value comparison

Belial is where targeted farming gets interesting. Rather than accepting his own fixed table, you choose an eligible Lair Boss pool when opening the hoard. That makes him a strong use of premium materials once you know exactly what is missing. Say your Sorcerer still needs a Fractured Winterglass from Astaroth's pool, or your Rogue wants a specific Andariel item. Pick that table and keep the roll focused. It is not a guaranteed drop, obviously, but it beats hoping a general-pool reward lands in the right slot.

The Corrupted Reaper serves a different job. Its pool is broad, so it is not the place to hunt one precise regular Unique. What it does well is move an established character forward. You can see Mythic drops, collect Pandemonium Fragments, and after the July update potentially receive two fragments at higher Torment levels. Four fragments can upgrade a Unique through the Horadric Cube, which gives dry streaks some value. Once your core gear is done, mix Reaper runs with Belial attempts and only replace pieces when the change is real. A carefully chosen piece of cheap diablo 4 gear can fill a weak slot while you save keys for the boss table that matters most.
